The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro stands out as a durable, versatile countertop oven that can handle daily use and often replaces a full-size oven for smaller households. It has a strong reputation for longevity, and the cooking performance is described as solid when the unit works. The used like new listings sometimes arrive in truly pristine, unopened condition and can feel like a good value versus retail. The main drawbacks are inconsistent resale quality, with reports of dents, missing parts, rust, dead units, and GFCI trips on startup, plus some concern about Breville's PFAS situation. A solid pick if you want the feature set and can tolerate resale risk.
The like-new units reportedly arrive in retail packaging and appear unused or open-box returned.
The oven can handle heavy daily use for years with only minor issues reported.
A broken left-side door spring reportedly can be replaced cheaply using an available spring.
Some units reportedly function properly even when cosmetic dents are present.
Some shipments reportedly arrive dented, scratched, or rusted despite mint or like-new grading.
Some like-new units reportedly will not power on after arrival.
Some units reportedly trip kitchen GFCI outlets on startup and cause a toasted session.
Some deliveries reportedly suffer transit damage due to poor packaging and missing parts.
