Deal Details
On September 18, 2026, also known as National Cheeseburger Day, McDonald's guests can receive a free double cheeseburger with a $1 purchase.

On the 18th, customers can use or download the MyMcDonald's Rewards app to claim their reward. The only restrictions include making a $1 purchase in the app (excluding tax), and the offer is only valid one time and only on September 18. Fans have to use the app to claim this reward, but thankfully the restaurant chain offers rewards from time to time, so it pays to download it.

"Participating McDonald's" locations only like the Big Mac deal? Or all McDonald's nationwide?

That was an L. I haven't seen anything at McDonald's for buy xxxx get xxxx for $1 in Dallas Austin or NYC in years.

Mcds isn't worth top price. It's literally the worst option.

It varies depending on location. Yeah, 4 nugget sauces will usually come to $1 or just over. Or one location near me charges $1.50 for a McChicken sandwich as the menu price, which isn't bad since it lets you combine that with other offers and won't just go to waste like the sauces probably would. Another location is more expensive for the chicken sandwich, but has syrup for 40¢ and sauces for 30¢, so I sometimes use that to get to $1 even instead of four sauces. Smilie Or you could add another beef patty or bacon, or cheese to the burger. And individual cookies are another possibility, although the prices on those can vary wildly as well … one location near me charges 99¢ each, while they're $1.99 each at another store about a mile away.

Curious about the origins of the beef? The U.S. gov recently ordered 660 million pounds of mystery meat from overseas.Going forward, will be careful about the ground beef I eat.

Finally the children can have their own sandwich instead of splitting one.

It's easy for me to suspect this won't be in my account like the Big Mac deal.

BK is making you spend $3 though … those deals aren't exactly spectacular. This with an extra patty will give you a triple cheeseburger for right around $1, which is a pretty good discount. I doubt I'll even bother with most of the BK "deal days" … although I might go for the chicken sandwich.
