No luck for me. Says code not valid.

Edit: created a new account and it worked. Great deal. Did a second order for GTA 6 for $69.

This Zelda Ocarina of Time Switch 2 preorder is mainly attractive for the $10 SAVE3X discount, which drops the price to about $49.88 before tax and can also stack with existing credits. The strongest pattern is that it often works on older, non Walmart Plus accounts, especially through the Walmart app or after changing store, zip code, address, or adding a cheap filler item. The main snag is that many checkouts throw eligible items, out of stock, or promo code not valid errors, and some orders later cancel. A workable deal if the checkout hurdles clear.

Common Questions (5)

Try changing the default store or delivery ZIP, switching between pickup and delivery, using the Walmart app instead of desktop, and re-adding the item after a short wait. Some shoppers also got it to work by creating a new account, turning off VPN, or adding a cheap filler item like eggs or toilet paper before applying the code.

It works for many shoppers, but only on eligible accounts/items and often only after checkout conditions are right. Common fixes include using the Walmart app, switching to delivery or pickup, changing the default store or address, or adding a small filler item before removing it.

No. The code worked for many non-Walmart+ accounts, and several Walmart+ accounts failed while non-Walmart+ accounts succeeded. Eligibility appears tied more to account, store, address, or device than to membership alone.

Yes, it has worked on newly created accounts and has also been used more than once on the same account by some shoppers. A few comments also show it applying to separate orders, including different games, though account eligibility still varies.
Starscream615 dan11wrx digipimp75 CraptasticCrap
There is a real cancellation risk because the code appears tied to a pickup/delivery promo loophole, and Walmart has canceled preorders before for payment-hold issues or quantity limits. Several shoppers kept an Amazon backup order in case the Walmart order does not stick.

We had to cancel your Walmart order due to a violation of our Terms of Use.

Are they sending out cancellations already?

What is the probability that Walmart will cancel our orders at the last minute (close to launch) because they find out about this loophole? That said, I have one order here at $50 and another at Amazon for $60.

They'd likely do way before unless for some reason they don't get enough. Also it's just $10 off their retail so it's not like it's a crazy deal. Of course if they do on my end no big deal seeing how I don't even have a switch 2 yet lol.

Brilliant! I think this is the ideal price for Nintendo Switch 2 games, especially new ones (they make some, we don't pay near $100)
