This Zelda Ocarina of Time Switch 2 preorder is mainly attractive for the $10 SAVE3X discount, which drops the price to about $49.88 before tax and can also stack with existing credits. The strongest pattern is that it often works on older, non Walmart Plus accounts, especially through the Walmart app or after changing store, zip code, address, or adding a cheap filler item. The main snag is that many checkouts throw eligible items, out of stock, or promo code not valid errors, and some orders later cancel. A workable deal if the checkout hurdles clear.

👍 i have a pre-existing, non-Plus Walmart account and the code worked anyway. i went from cancelling the pre-order at Nintendo and then Amazon. if it drops to $39.99 I'll jump there too.

All Nintendo first party games that have a physical release come on a cartridge. That is why they have been charging $10 extra for the Cartridge version over the digital download version.
Not entirely true. Some Switch 2 physical games are stored on the cartridge, while other physical releases (Pokopia being one), use what is called "Key Card", and it requires you to download the entire game once the cartridge is in the switch. To answer the question, the physical release of this game DOES NOT use Key Card, and is stored on the cartridge.

I'm aware of what a Game-Key Card is. Pokopia wasn't developed by Nintendo. It was co-developed by Game Freak and Koei Tecmo's Omega Force. Omega Force is the company that designed and released Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Game Freak is one of three companies that makeup the Pokemon Company, Nintendo and Creatures being the other two.

People for some reason always assume Pokemon is only Nintendo. Because of trademarks and logo's it gives Nintendo basically exclusive rights to the games but they only own 32% of the Pokemon Company with no one have a majority share.

Which is why a game like Pokopia that is in fact not a Nintendo First party game came out on a Game-Key Card.

This is an amazing deal. I was able to use it twice. Once on splatoon raiders and the other on Zelda pre order. Thanks for sharing!

I was getting the same error (saying that it's only for pickup and delivery), created a brand new account on a clean connection (with a phone number that I hadn't used with them before, not sure if that matters), and it seems to have worked! Also, if the code doesn't initially work, may need to add something like a grocery item, apply the code, then remove that item before completing checkout, good luck!

Nice! Worked for me! I'm not a Walmart+ member if that helps anyone!
Thanks. It didn't work on my Walmart+ account but did work on my other account that doesn't have Walmart+. Weird this isn't a Walmart+ benefit.
