I am glad they still make those. Once you get the hang of it you can't go back. But I couldn't get fast enough using it with gaming, but for office work I can't use any other mouse.

This is the gateway into trackball mice. Eventually I upgraded to the MX Ergo but this is a good device if you're curious. Helped me immensely with forearm strain.

I use this to play World of Warcraft. I do M10 and get AOTC every season... so it does the job. People think I am weird.

I stopped mythic raiding a few years ago, but used these Logitech trackball mice (predecessors and later the MX Ergo) for it all. I actually switched over to these back in the late 90's (I think the trackball mice were that old ugly beige color of the 90s) so I'm laughably awkward with normal mice these days. Probably about as bad as if you tried mythic raiding on an eraser nub on a Lenovo laptop. 😂

shame they didn't add more than 1 button to the ergo, or
it may be worth spending 3x for the same thumb mouse.

I wish track ball is at the top. I have this old Microsoft trackball mouse that I've been utilizing for more than 20 yrs which saving my fingers/wrist for work. So hard to find something similar to it.

I've also used these for both desktop and laptop for years. I also keep a couple spares around just in case as I've actually worn one or two right out over the years. Great device that you'll adapt to very quickly and one in which will cause you to dispose of your regular mouse in a matter of a day or two.

had to quote you Wink.

I absolutely HATE trackball mice. They make my hand hurt in about 5 minutes of usage. I think they can give you carpal tunnel (or whatever dislocated thumb) 10 times faster than normal mice.

However, I have several family members and have seen multiple coworkers at various places swear by those things. You're ALL insane! But I will still buy one on occasion for a present for someone. Wink

In for one. I have been wanting to try a trackball for office work. I havent used one since I played with one on the family computer in the 90's so at least I get to enjoy the nostalgia if it doesn't work out.

this is my absolute favorite wireless successor to the original I got. I bought this the day it was announced. Still freakin love it for travel.
