It's also the same price at Best Buy. Difference is if you have an old Epson printer laying around you can trade it in for a some extra cash off.
Something to be aware about with this printer is the latest updates have blocked using 3rd party inks. There are guides to downgrade to an older version, but should be fine if you just don't update it.

This is the Walmart [walmart.com] model and it's out of stock. But I did find it at Epson [epson.com], guess they have extras.

They should be giving these printers away for free if they RFID trap the cartridges.

I am looking to buy one of these epson wf-3820 or wf-3823. But the description say 'This product only uses genuine Epson-brand cartridges.' Has someone used these invoices and successful in using third party cartridges? Is not, can someone recommend a compatable color printer, scanner and copier around this price range which does not lock you into ink subscription or genuine ink cartridges. Should be reliable. Brank does not matter.
