heads up: this is the micro-usb version, not USB-C
Community Reviews
The MX Anywhere 2S stands out as a compact travel mouse with strong multi device support, handy for switching between a desktop, laptop, and work machine. It has long battery life, with work use stretching to about six months between charges, and the tilting scroll wheel still helps with horizontal scrolling or volume control. The Actions Ring in Options Plus is another useful extra. The main drawback is the micro USB charging port, and there are reports of main buttons sticking or double clicking after a couple of years.
Common Questions (5)
This unit is the micro-USB version, not USB-C. The port is called out as annoying, though the battery life is still described as pretty good.
Some units reportedly develop main-button sticking or double-clicking after a couple of years. Other owners report 7-8 years of use with no issues, so longevity appears to depend on the individual unit.
Battery life is reported as very good for work use, with charging needed about every six months. Another long-term owner also says the battery life has been solid over years of use.
The Bluetooth Edition is described as Bluetooth-only in this thread, with no confirmation that it works with a Unifying receiver. If you want the smoother receiver-based connection, this model may not be the right pick.
Yes, it supports multi-device use and is used across desktop, laptop, and work laptop setups. That makes it practical if you switch between computers often.
