I have a variety of these braided cables from LISEN, AINOPE, and INIU and they're all good...but most laptops charge around 65W and so these, in theory, should be limited to things like phones and tablets that frequently top out at 45W or so. I don't like having to remember which cables I can use with my 100W adapter.
It's not impossible, of course, but I find it extremely unlikely that you had two halfway decent and appropriate cables be the sole reason for damaging two separate laptops. The common factor here doesn't seem to be the cables...
And in any case, AINOPE is not no-name the way you're insinuating. They've been around a while, have a proven track record, and offer good customer service. There's no reason whatsoever to think these cables will "fry" anything assuming the devices on either end is functioning correctly.
Buy gold-plated Monster cables if that makes you feel better, but these cables are 100% fine.

This 2 pack of 6.6 foot braided USB C cables stands out for its right angle connector, which makes phone use in bed, on a couch, or while propped against a surface more comfortable and less likely to get pulled loose. The cables are described as sturdy, space friendly, and reliable for phones and tablets, with fast charging and long term use reported without issues. The main limitation is power, since the 60W rating is better suited to smaller devices than laptops, and the data speed is only USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps. A practical pick if the right angle design matters more than maximum wattage.
The right-angle connector makes charging more comfortable while browsing and reduces cable strain against the body.
The cables have reportedly worked well for phones and tablets without charging problems.
The right-angle design can help with clearance when an adapter sits behind furniture.
The cables have reportedly supported a 65W laptop powering a second 15-inch portable monitor for six months without issues.
The 60W cable rating may limit laptop charging performance compared with higher-power 240W EPR-capable cables.
Using the cable for powering a laptop plus a portable monitor may create overheating concerns despite some trouble-free use.
A faulty USB-C cable reportedly fried two laptops, raising concerns about trusting no-name Amazon cables.
The cable listing reportedly supports USB 2.0 speeds at 480 Mbps, which may be slow for data transfers.

On the other hand, Amazon put their "Prime Air" livery on a large cargo airliner that crashed and killed 5 people last week. So take Amazon's endorsement with a grain of salt. Nothing is really guaranteed.
AINOPE and LISEN are both "no-name" brands that at least have a decent track record of quality components and good customer service, so it's equal there.
