This 2 pack of 6.6 foot braided USB C cables stands out for its right angle connector, which makes phone use in bed, on a couch, or while propped against a surface more comfortable and less likely to get pulled loose. The cables are described as sturdy, space friendly, and reliable for phones and tablets, with fast charging and long term use reported without issues. The main limitation is power, since the 60W rating is better suited to smaller devices than laptops, and the data speed is only USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps. A practical pick if the right angle design matters more than maximum wattage.

  • The right-angle connector makes charging more comfortable while browsing and reduces cable strain against the body.

  • The cables have reportedly worked well for phones and tablets without charging problems.

  • The right-angle design can help with clearance when an adapter sits behind furniture.

  • The cables have reportedly supported a 65W laptop powering a second 15-inch portable monitor for six months without issues.

  • The 60W cable rating may limit laptop charging performance compared with higher-power 240W EPR-capable cables.

  • Using the cable for powering a laptop plus a portable monitor may create overheating concerns despite some trouble-free use.

  • A faulty USB-C cable reportedly fried two laptops, raising concerns about trusting no-name Amazon cables.

  • The cable listing reportedly supports USB 2.0 speeds at 480 Mbps, which may be slow for data transfers.

Curious, what's the use cases for the right angled plugs? I don't think I need it but I could be wrong ofc
Our couches have charger ports on the side so right angle plugs lesson the chance of the dog pulling them out on accident

If I'm using my phone in portrait mode, I can rest it against a surface or lean it against something. With a straight plug you pretty much just have to hold it.

Really!?! I just bought these last week. Ugh. Well, they're great. My second pair bought. The first pair I bought back in 2021. Lost one and the other was getting corroded so I replaced them. They work grwat with fast chargers, too.

If you don't need the right angle, I would spend an extra 60 cents and get the 240W LISEN cables: https://slickdeals.net/f/19960797-2-pk-6-6-lisen-240w-usb-c-to-usb-c-charge-cable-5-60

I have a variety of these braided cables from LISEN, AINOPE, and INIU and they're all good...but most laptops charge around 65W and so these, in theory, should be limited to things like phones and tablets that frequently top out at 45W or so. I don't like having to remember which cables I can use with my 100W adapter.
Your finding beats this so-called deal.

Is "upgreded right angle" comparable to "upgraded" right angle?

I like the right angles, too...seems to actually spare the cable a lot when you're laying down and using the phone. Recommend.

This, 100%. I use it while charging via a battery pack and doom scrolling in bed. I got the shorter 3' variant with USB-A to USB-C

It's "upgreded", how can they be bad?

Not really a comment on the deal/price but as someone who had a faulty USB-C cable fry two laptops this week, I'm not sure if I'd trust any cable made by 'Ainope' or any other no-name company selling on Amazon. As I've now had to inform my wife, the extra $10 for a cable from a legit company is weeeeell worth the extra expense.
Sounds more likely attributed to a power surge from a faulty power source / adapter, than to a cable.
