Sounds like a warranty replacement.

Usually, but it isn't easy with some companies. I have no experience with this company but have had to jump through excessive hoops with other non-major brand companies before with some flat out ignoring me entirely.

Yeah warranties these days can be utterly painful or meaningless. The only good warranty claim I had was with EVGA power supply.

I have an alternatively branded version. It's fine for $25. It lasted 7 months.

Definitely be careful of the more obscure brand of chargers. I got an obscure brand one Amazon last year that within less than a year it one day stopped working properly and got so hot when it was plugged in that it would basically burn you by touching it -- and when I unplugged it, it stayed very hot for like 10+ minutes. Clearly a huge fire hazard and lesson learned - just pay up for the name brand ones, not worth the risk.

I'm on the other spectrum, I've had several 25w odd branded chargers for 8+ years no problems lol.

Wouldn't wegear be a Lenovo brand which would make it a legit brand?
