These are too big for any bases with any amount of wind. i auger a 4 foot hole. put sonotubes in fill concrete. Leave 6 inches above ground. Then i bolt the umbrellas to those. I surrouunded my pool with these. I remove from the bases for hurricane and have to replenish covers every so often. I put 5 up all around, square works better for pools, pretty cool looking when they're up. Been about 5 years a few are close to replacing time due to a couple things fireworks landing on one, and one left unfolded when big windstorm came and bent an rod.

Polyester fabric will last one year at the most and then you will be left with the skeleton which will be very hard to dispose off.
