At the end of one of their movies I paid to see, they encouraged people to "pay it forward" by donating the cost of a ticket that will go towards those who cannot afford to see it. We both donated and then I saw an SD post here and realized it wasn't being vetted and people with plenty of money were just trying to see it cheaply. Some were even bragging that they got the free ticket to the Angel film and snuck into a different movie they'd rather see. Disappointed is the understatement of the century imo.
Thanks for the heads up. I can't stand that right-wing propaganda outlet angel studios. I will be seeing another film.
