That's never the case. You can always renew at whatever the current new customer promotion price is; no one pays the "suggested retail price" at infimobile. They seem to be using the jcpenney pricing model.

$175/yr for 40gb and 10gb of hotspot data isn't a bad deal, either. Kinda hard for some of us to be without the possibility of hotspot. Just to be clear, I can't get around the hotspot restriction on my Pixel without VPN and spoofing on a lower plan, correct.

Not true. I have a 1 year plan ending in about 4 months that I bought for about 100$ a year. Now I renewed with this $75/year offer and it renewed. It says upcoming plan in my account and looks like you can renew after a year with the current offer.
