Not really. This is only 1000W with smaller bottom unit/motor. It is probably going out of fashion now that even 1500W versions are out. And this is a used unit. We don't know how much is used and if blades are still sharp. From my experience, blades on these go full fast. These and even 1200W versions were frequently going on sale for $50 on walmart, Amazon, kohls. But I think those days are gone due to inflation. I would just spend more on some sale on higher watts ones like 1200, 1400 or even 1500W ones.

I've had good luck with some Amazon Warehouse items in the past, but recently they have been completely broken, filthy, and disgusting. They seem to have stopped inspecting stuff and just put it up for sale without even checking when they receive returns.

For all you saying its "used", in my experience the vast majority of items ive purchased that were between "used-acceptable" to "used-like new" were still sealed and new, but had varying amounts of external damage to the box. Im selective with which ones I pick though depending on how amazon describes it. Heck, ive had used like new screen protectors actually used and used-acceptable luggage that just had a corner on the box smashed in. Once I took the luggage out, it was no different than new.

Plastic is easy to use but I always go for glass on my blenders. Yeah it's heavy, but it's completely non-reactive, odorless, and does not stain no matter what I'm blending. Had a Black & Decker that started making weird noises with the motor after over a decade, looked around for a replacement, and it was surprising how few options there were for blenders with a glass pitcher. Went with a used Joyoung 1200W 4 years ago for its glass pitcher and it's been working fine.

Speed ranges from 1 to 9. My use cases are mostly juicing at 5, breaking up corn for soup at 3, and cracking malt for homebrewing at 2. Based on my own use, I think a 1000W blender would be plenty sufficient for most home cooks.
