Looks cheap compared to other Zojirushi designs. Plus I find the top controls/display so impractical. You can't tell if it's on unless you're standing right above it! If you leave keep warm on for hours at a time, you'll know how nice it is to be able to glance at it from across the room.

As Asian person, who owned many rice cooker let me Tell you this. Bigger is not always better

This company makes different rice cooker at different capacity

3 cup 5cup 10 cup etc


I am single person and I use 3 cup version because I make 1~2 cup of rice.

If you gonna make smaller portion 10 cup version is not for you.

You would need to make at least 5 cup of rice ( can feed like 10 people) to have nice texture
