I'll stick with 10, and OpenOffice.
The licenses for 10 and 11 are the same, you don't have to buy 11 if you have 10.

Always surprises me that SD pushes these grey market deals. Must get a great kickback.

If you're going to pirate software, why pay for it?

The problem is not drawing a diagram (that's easy) but changing it afterwards. I tried drawing.io for a while but it can't compete yet with Visio on that front. Frown
Curious what you are using Visio for. Professionally I process map every day at work, my new company doesn't use Visio, we are using Aris. I'm only asking because I've kicked around buying a personal Visio license for like 15 years now but I'm not sure what exactly I'd do with it.

Because it is legit. If it wasn't, Microsoft would shut it down. Just like if someone started a website selling ROMS. It be taken down right fast

It is nowhere close to legit, that's why there are multiple middlemen involved. MS doesn't spend the money going after them, they just deactivate the codes.

Keys for 10 doesn't work anymore but upgrading 10 to 11 will activate 11 automatically.

Just came here to laugh at that typo, too. Glad someone else pointed it out.

These are graymarket keys. They're legit in that they are legit keys, but not legit in that you are (likely) not authorized to use the keys. These are basically hacked enterprise keys that can be revoked at any time.

Will they be? Maybe not. And if you don't really care how long they last, then sure, these are I guess worth it. Otherwise, no reason to go through all of these third parties to get a sketchy key, and it's ridiculous that SD not just allows but promotes this unethical shit.

For what it's worth, I've purchased one of these grey market keys (specifically just a Windows 11 one, none of the other add-ons) and have been using it since 2020ish. So far has been working just fine.

These days we can just download the windows program from microsoft and not activate it.
Pretty much everything works.
BUT if you install it, disconnect the pc from internet while you install it.
If you install windows while you are connected to the internet, they will embed themselves into your hardware very deep.

No one should be supporting this as others have said. While the keys may work, these are not officially allowed for retail resale under Microsoft's TOS.

If you want to go this route, just go the free route and by running the activation scripts from massgrave.dev. At least they're honest with what they are -- an open source Microsoft Windows/Office activation tool.
