I don't see a place to add a trade-in device when I go through Costco. It replaces the $930 promo with $100 Costco shop card promo which is not worth it. Likely because promo terms say "May not be combinable with some offers, discounts, or promotions"
You may be able to double dip if T-mobile/Costco makes an update on their back end, but you risk missing the promo if that doesn't happen in time.

For Costco members:
I don't see a place to add a trade-in device when I go through Costco. It replaces the $930 promo with $100 Costco shop card promo which is not worth it. Going through T-mobile directly waived the activation fees for me. Go through the T-mobile link you received by Text or see promos on your account on their Shop page.
