So you sold both os4 and ps5 to put towards ps5 pro?
Yes. PS4 was sitting unused, so wasn't really a loss. And PS5 plays my physical PS4 games, had to get the disc drive upgrade though. For me it's worth it, because I have a lot of 4k movies, blu rays and physical games

The worst part of PlayStation is the PS plus subscription. I got a deal for $90 on premium for a year that lasts 6 more months, but will likely let it lapse completely a while next year if don't find any deals on a subscription extension (for whichever tier)

Thank you for posting this, I'm going to buy this and return the game without a receipt the next day to get $57 back in Walmart credit. I would have gotten $70 back but the game was on sale in the end of July and Walmart gives you back the lowest price within 3 months
my hood wally says receipt only.

I have ps4 pro which i still use but value at this point probably wont be much. Every Black Friday ps plus has sale on subscription. My premium expired on sept 1 but they offered premium for $120 but I decided to wait till more discount in November

there's a site called backmarket that will buy them, but it depends how much vendors are paying. Sony was offering an additional $50 trade in credit on top of whatever backmarket was paying if you initiate thru that trade in screen ( they call it the trade in and trade up program). The issue with backmarket is their vendors are highly variable so the offer prices will swing dramatically depending on who is currently buying that particular product

Wouldn't it make more sense to buy a PS5 at this price point?
So, on a post of a luggage deal, do you go suggest it makes more sense to buy a dresser??

I don't play any 4k movies on my ps5.because It's of the ware and tear or using for multiple purposes and it didn't have DV.

So $450 before price increase and now this price but game included. Not terrible price considering Mario games always expensive anyways
It was $500 with a game so now it's just $20 bucks more.

Yeah. Zelda, Metroid, Pikichu and Mario all look sweet on a PS5. Wise up, your PS tattoo is showing when you post
apparently you can mod a ps5 to play them

Only thing I would get a Switch 2 for is the Zelda games.

You do realize the Switch 2 in just after a year has more exclusives than the shitty, ill-fated PS5 has in almost 6 years, right? The PS5 hasn't been at this price in years, and it's not portable, genius. What doesn't make sense is buying a PS5.
The Switch outsold the PS5 and the Switch 2 will outsell it to.

I agree the price is steep. When they announced it was coming out I was fully ready to drop $300 maybe even $350 on it. When it was priced at $450 I knew they were going to leave me behind and still sell millions of these. Now it's been out awhile and the only exclusive I'm interested in is OoT and there's enough other games coming out that it will be shelved even if I had a Switch 2. I'll wait for some upgraded version in a year or two.

It's the best value in the industry right now. And on what planet were you expecting to get one for $300 less (which is what you wrote) or even $300? Have you not paid attention at all to the RAMCopalypse? 🤣
