Most likely a price mistake. Hop on before it goes dead!
Community Reviews
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch is being offered as a digital download at a steep discount, and the main draw is instant access to a huge kart racer that is easy to keep on the system. The code usually arrives by email within minutes, often redeeming cleanly on Nintendo's site, and the digital format avoids cartridge swapping. The main caveats are that Walmart's listing appears to be a pricing mistake, checkout can trigger cancellations or unusual activity flags, and the code may land in spam. The Booster Course Pass is not clearly included, so that extra content may still need to be bought separately.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, it appears to be a pricing error. Multiple comments point to the price matching the Booster Course Pass or a discount that should have been about $18 off a $60 game, while comparable prices were around $42.
Walmart's fraud or policy review can cancel the order shortly after checkout, and some accounts get flagged for unusual activity. Using a different payment method, the Walmart app, PayPal, or a different device has worked for some purchases.
The PIN/code is emailed from [email protected], usually within minutes and up to 60 minutes after purchase. If the email does not show up, check spam or the Walmart account page, and a retrieval webpage is available if needed.
Yes. The code redeems normally on Nintendo's site or in the Nintendo shop, and several purchases were activated and downloaded right away. If the game does not auto-download, updating the console software can fix it.
No. The listing is for the base Mario Kart 8 Deluxe digital game, and the Booster Course Pass is a separate purchase on the eShop. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe already includes the Wii U DLC, but not the Booster Course Pass.
