There's a free demo on PS store. This game only came out a couple months ago and I watched a ton of reviews, played the demo it's a pretty cool game. Nice price drop fairly early imo I have been waiting for one. I am considering canceling my Best Buy Wolverine order based on the reviews I've seen . Maybe I'll order this instead.

Was thinking of getting Wolverine also, but backed out. Heard the story is only 8-10 hours. Seems like the kind of game you would have rented for $10 at blockbuster 20 years ago, beat it and never played again

Capcom & Square good for actual demos and let the demos do the heavy lifting of hype. That Wolverine game appears catered to next gen of casuals, the PS3 Wolverine may have been my first platinum. XMen on sega, Konami's Xmen in arcade

Cheaper on digital (PS5 at least), especially if you live in a state that still doesn't charge taxes for digital purchases.

I was initially going to buy Wolverine but after the tepid reviews I purchased this game on sale on the PSN store. So glad I did because this game is awesome and it has a unique gameplay twist.

I also canceled my Wolverine pre-order -- I don't care too much about short length, but the hand-holding is a completely turn off. Also, the gameplay looks stiff and probably gets boring after an hour.

The game needs to sell 6 million sales for Sony to keep the Marvel IP; I read those were the conditions, or else Marvel could strip Sony of it. With such a lackluster Metacritic score, it's gonna lag severely, BUT in addition to GTA 6 releasing, all the collective gamer's attention and mindshare will be sapped away until the end of the year. What does this mean?

Well to get back on the general topic, games like this - Pragmata, and Marvel's Wolverine will likely be on steep discount on Black Friday (GTA releases November 19th, a week earlier), and probably all throughout December. I would advise everyone to WAIT until that moment comes, where steeper discounts are more likely, because that's the only thing they can do to try and lure others away from the GTA 6 megaton. Any deals on games now are to catch you flat footed before the bigger sale later.

At the very LEAST, wait until Nov 1st for Amazon, or Oct 1st for Walmart, as they offer extended holiday return periods. If the game drops lower during this time, you could try to a pricematch, or do a return/rebuy at the lower price.

Where are you getting this 8-10? Most reviewers on low end said 12 but most around 15 hours. Nothing wrong with a linear game but how they have neutered fighting to just the X buttton masher has turned me off a little. I'm also put off with the hand holding stuff with the Wolverine heightened sense. If I want to use the scent trail I can tap a button to see it temporarily but not something that is always on with horrible blue line stuck on the screen. I'm waiting them to turn that feature off as it is really a travesty it was put in the game automatically. I will wait for the game to go on sale during BF. Hopefully they will have patched this by then.

GTA 6 will be a major gamer event. I don't see how any company wants to release a game in winter around that game. Don't think anyone will be playing any game but that.

What state is that? Lucky you guys. Also you can setup the ps5 to share with one other and share your library with them. But you better know that person well.

Not a bad deal if you have to have it in the near future, but will give a PSA about Black Friday and video game prices like this probably falling a lot more between now and then.

If you have a big backlog like I do, I try to remind myself of this early and often when a game price is still $50+ or something I don't feel like I have to have right now - hope it helps someone else!
