Helpful. I ordered multiple. Each were $4.73 under subscribe and save.

Edit: This brand was one of the listed in Mamavation's best cinnamon brands tested for glyphosate and toxic heavy metals.

Good price and a great ceylon cinnamon. My favorite, actually -- I regularly buy a bulk package ceylon cinnamon on Amazon to save money, but it's not as sweet and flavorful as this brand. This is twice as expensive (as the sale price) at my local grocer.

For those wondering why you should consider spending so much on cinnamon, do know that this is not your average cinnamon (which is cassia/saigon cinnamon.) This is a much sweeter, richer cinnamon, rather than being bitter/spicy. The best cinnamon for baking and/or sweetening. It also contains only trace amounts of coumarin in comparison to other cinnamons, which can be toxic in large amounts. It's more expensive because it's grown and harvested only in Sri Lanka. Be warned that you'll never want to go back to other types of cinnamon after trying this. Thanks for coming to my ceylon cinnamon talk.

If you're a heavy cinnamon user (adding to coffee, baking, etc), this is a much better price per ounce. Frontier co-op is $0.91/oz (after 4.50 off coupon) vs. simply organic's $2.75/oz. If you use this kind of quantity, this is the way to go.

I lost my taste for cinnamon mainly because nowadays most products do not use cinnamon but chemicals that smell like cinnamon !

I purchase this by the pound for around $15. $5 for 2oz doesn't seem so hot.

If you have an Aldi by you, organic cinnamon is like $2...

I disagree that this type of cinnamon is sweeter. I switched back to the cheap stuff for my oatmeal but use this stuff when making things like chicken marinade for gyro style pitas. I DO agree the cheaper stuff is toxic in large amounts.

Two kinds of cinnamon: Sri Lankan Ceylon and Saigon Cassia. Ceylon is prized for being smooth.

A pound would probably last me a lifetime. Too much.

Too much of non Ceylon can be hard on your body, liver and kidneys. So if you are heavy user, Ceylon is definitely preferred.
