Logitech's G502 HERO is a proven wired gaming mouse with a long track record, a customizable weight system, and the signature Infinity scroll wheel. The shape and button layout have stayed familiar for years, and the mouse can still feel solid for everyday gaming. The main drawbacks are its very heavy 120 gram plus build and the recurring double click issue. Amazon's used like new condition also looks hit or miss, though returns are described as easy if the unit arrives rough.
The G502 HERO can regain left-button microswitch function after clearing grease or dirt with high-pressure air.
The Infinity scroll wheel offers smooth spinning and a satisfying flick response during use.
The G502 design lineage from older Logitech models suggests a proven ergonomic approach over time.
The mouse supports adding weights underneath to tune balance and stability to personal preference.
The G502 HERO is very heavy, which can make quick movement feel difficult for weight-conscious players.
Amazon "used - like new" listings can arrive with missing components or visible damage despite the condition label.
Amazon "used - like new" condition can be unreliable, including reports of frayed wiring and dirt or dead skin on arrival.
A double-click defect has been reported for the G502 HERO with no fix provided.

The wheel wobbles a bit, some people complain about the clack during fast movement, it never bothered me. The updated 502x is better in every way and doesn't do that.

worth it if you can swing it.
There is NO WAY they are actually inspecting these.
