This is a great mouse. You can also add weights underneath to balance it how you like, or just for stability. I had one work great for 4 years then it seemed like I broke the left button microswitch. Some high-pressure air cleared a small amount of grease or dirt and its back working.

Yeah, you can regularly get this mouse for cheap. $19 is rare (I got mine for $15 new on a target deal awhile back so they are out there), but people, just get new for around $25-35 instead. I would actually take the $37 new over this for a mouse. A used mouse doesn't sound very appealing.

The mouse it self though is fantastic. I've been using them since 2017 and I don't think I'll switch anytime soon.

I don't think the mouse design has changed much since the g500 in 2010 or the g5 back in 2005. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Your statement contradicts. If the mouse is good quality it should be fine to buy second hand.

Yea the used x current model which is also wireless is a better buy by that standard because g502 owners eventually pay that much in replacements even if new

If you look up the disassembly, it's a lot more parts than you'd think.

Adding weights on a mouse in 2026 is crazy when every mice is trying to be lighter. We got good solid light weight in sub 40G like Hitscan hyperlight, ATK f1 v3. Heck even the mouse community thinks anything sub 60G is heavy like superlight, superstrike and even zowie mices

This Logitech mice weighs over 120G.....

Such a heavy mouse. Feels like moving a brick on skates. Infinity scroll wheel is nice though. Damn thing spins like a fidget toy with a good flick.

If you haven't tried a light mouse though, I'd recommend you look around. Sub 80g is where you start to notice what a light mouse can do for you.

Even if they sold it at five dollars they would be making a ton of money.

Be very wary of "used -like new" from Amazon. I've bought 2 things this way and both arrived damaged and missing components. Nobody is actually inspecting this stuff. If you roll the dice on this or anything else used from them, be prepared to return it.
