These have 200mg of caffeine per can. Personally I only drink half and save the other half in a glass bottle. It will still be carbonated many days later. So my 24 pack ends up being a 48 day supply for $17. It's a good replacement for the v8 energy drinks. Plus it's about the same caffeine as two cans of coke.

Community Reviews

Kirkland Signature Sparkling Energy Drink is a 12 ounce sparkling energy drink that lands closest to Celsius, with a cleaner, less sweet taste and flavors like orange and tropical drawing comparisons to familiar energy drinks. The 200 milligram caffeine level and 24 pack format make it feel strong and convenient for workouts or stocking up. In warehouse pricing appears to be $12.99 this week, while app and online pricing can show different numbers. The main caution is that taste is not universally loved, and the smaller 12 ounce cans are worth noting next to 16 ounce options in the aisle.

Energy drink fans who want a less sweet, cleaner-tasting alternative because it tastes good without overwhelming sweetness or artificial flavor.

Warehouse shoppers stocking up on a 12-ounce energy drink because the in-store price can land at $12.99 for 24 cans.
gr8scottaz Danzilla mastaplaya715
Celsius drinkers looking for a similar flavor profile because the tropical flavor is close and the drinks are hard to distinguish from Celsius.
KristopherF beirbuddycom
People who like a strong caffeine hit in a smaller can because 12 ounces packs 200mg and feels packed compared with larger energy drinks.

Energy drink drinkers who want a mild caffeine level because 12 ounces contains 200mg and can feel like too much.
calvin0416 CoopaLoopa72
People who dislike artificial or off-putting flavor because some found the taste bad or like trash.
BigHurt CyberStalker
Shoppers who want a sweeter, candy-like energy drink because this one is less sweet than Celsius and can taste like old-school orange soda.
KristopherF
Buyers who expect the same kick as Celsius because this can taste good yet still feel weaker in effect than Celsius.
VasaDudikof

The in-store price can drop to $12.99 after the $4 off promo.

The variety flavors can taste similar to Celsius tropical and orange profiles.
KristopherF beirbuddycom
The drinks can stay carbonated for days when half is saved in a glass bottle.
pyroskater85
The high can feel cleaner with no crash compared with Monster or Red Bull.

The app warehouse pricing can differ from the actual in-store price.

Some purchases can end up tasting bad, leading to wasted money on the case.

The 12 oz cans can be smaller than the 16 oz Monster drinks in the same aisle.

The caffeine level can feel too high for some drinkers compared with 16 oz Monster.

Common Questions (6)

Yes, the in-warehouse price is reported as $12.99 for the 24-pack this week, while the Costco app and online warehouse pricing can show different amounts such as $15.99 or $16.99. The app listing may reflect 2-day delivery instead of the warehouse shelf price.
gr8scottaz Danzilla PurpleJuice9746 jtree1
At $12.99 to $13 for 24 cans, it is priced below the usual reported $16.99 to $19.99 range and is repeatedly compared favorably with Celsius, Red Bull, and similar brands. The deal works out to about $0.67 per can when the promo price is shown online.
Danzilla JeffLowe jtree1 Danzilla
It is generally described as less sweet than Celsius, with orange tasting like old-school orange soda and tropical being close to Celsius tropical. Other notes say the flavor is not overly sweet or artificial, and some find it similar to Reign or even indistinguishable from Celsius.
KristopherF istolethisusername VasaDudikof beirbuddycom
Some find it similar to Celsius in flavor but with a cleaner feel and no crash, while others say it does not give the same kick as Celsius. If you are choosing by taste and general energy-drink style, it sits closer to Celsius/Reign than to overly sweet gas-station brands.
TriggrHppyTiggr VasaDudikof unicowmilker1 calixguy18
Each 12 oz can has 200 mg of caffeine. That is stronger than a 16 oz Monster at 150 mg, and it is in the same general range as other high-caffeine energy drinks like Reign, Bang, and C4.
sam_ay calvin0416 CoopaLoopa72
The Costco site rating is reported at 4.6 stars, and the main 1-star complaints are about shipping rather than the drink. That makes the low ratings less about flavor and more about delivery issues.

When rockstar energy drinks starting becoming harder and harder to find (especially Rockstar Focus ones I liked) I started researching other energy drinks and Celsius ended up being the one I went with. Costco's price for their generic brand Celsius is just amazing and this sale price is even better. Will definitely pick up a few.

Has anyone had these? I wonder how similar in taste they are to Celsius which seems like what they're trying to copy. I've seen these before and decided to wait for a sale. Thanks for posting!

They taste great. You won't be able to tell the difference between Celsius and Kirkland.

I'll have to try some.
200mg Caffeine for a 12oz can is pretty good.
Only other drinks that are that packed caffeine are Reign/Bang/C4, but they're 300mg/16oz.

Celsius always make me feel like crap. I usually have c4, reign, monster or ghost and I'm fine. Do you think they're similar to Celsius or more so just better quality energy drinks? I've had the "stinker" gas station branded energy drinks and they tasted awful but didn't make me feel sick like Celsius
