i'm printing something right now and prusaslicer says it's reaching 188mm/sec for this particular print with a .4mm high flow nozzle, .25mm layer height and its perfect. My max volumetric speed is at 21. I've had issues if i print too fast on like the speed setting, but I stick with balanced and had no issues.

Kingroon PETG is a low-cost bulk filament that shines for everyday prints like storage bins, shelves, and prototypes, with a finish that looks good once dialed in. Black and white rolls print well, bond strongly to textured PEI, and can even work without hairspray when the printer is tuned. The main catch is speed and setup, since pushing it too fast can dull the gloss, increase curling, and expose profile or calibration issues. It is a practical 10 kilogram option if surface perfection and true high-speed printing are not the priority.
Common Questions (4)
Drying at 70C for 7-8 hours, using a balanced speed profile, and dialing in the printer settings can produce clean prints. A textured PEI bed with hairspray gives excellent adhesion, though some setups work fine on untreated PEI once the bed is clean.
Not reliably at the advertised 350 mm/s. The PETG is reported to print well around 50 mm/s and can still look good at higher volumetric rates when tuned, but pushing it to 100 mm/s or beyond can make it lose gloss, turn greyish/matte, and curl upward.
Yes. It is described as cheap, easy to prototype with, and good for storage bins, shelf parts, and other solid-color functional prints where perfect surface finish is not critical.
The listing can be misleading: it mixes PLA and PETG in one page, and the 350 mm/s claim appears to apply to PLA rather than the PETG Basic received. The PETG Basic is reportedly rated around 40-80 mm/s, so it is not true high-speed filament.

thank you for this OP! i'm about half way on my previous order and this stuff is pretty good. I was hoping this would come back. It's cheap enough to protoype and it prints great. I do dry it at 70C for 7-8 hours just in case. No issues.

Bond to the bed is excellent with a textured PEI and hairspray (cheap, easy, fast). Shrinkage is ~0.3% when printed at 230C.
