I wonder if all their TV's are going to drop in price like crazy because of the spyware in the TV, not owning the glass to your own TV and the legal mumbo jumbo they wrote to justify this.

I mean every cell phone is tracking your position and Alexa and Google home are listening. So what TV can we trust?

It's all tracking and spying.
TV OSes are horrendous. I'd simply not connect any brand of TV to the internet. Hook up a streaming box (ideally one with minimal spyware, like Apple TV) and use that exclusively.
