Have this controller. It's a great deal. Can wake the Switch 2, allows for customizable buttons (including looping macros), can physically switch the faceplate and ABXY button layouts between switch and Xbox to your preference, it's comfortable. Only downsides have been occasional disconnections (which may because of my current configuration rather than the controller itself) and a slightly rough spot in the rotation of one joystick, though that doesn't impact functionality.

Update: there's a bundle with the controller and extra faceplate for 33 cents more. I order that instead to try my hand at painting a faceplate

Purchased two of these and both docks stopped working. Got a replacement dock for the second one and that didn't work either. These are solid controllers that feel good to hold but make no mistake that the dock will stop functioning.

I've purchased this one twice and the dock stopped working for both. Just bought the Ultimate 2 and it's been amazing. I'd choose it over this.

This is a nice controller and i prefer it over the dualsense and xbox controllers. Not a fan of 8bitdo controllers because they're shaped like the switch controllers and my hands get cramps using them. I can use this one comfortably for a long time. Triggers feel nice (magnetic), joysticks have a nice range, buttons are fine and dont feel cheap. You can pop off the magnetic faceplate and rearrange the buttons if using it on a switch. There are different light modes to choose from too. Gyro is there and works in the switch emulator playing zelda. I also have the nova lite 2 and it is compatible with the charger, it also automatically pairs when lifting off the base. You can also set profiles on this, so if you want steam or your console to recognize this a xbox controller, ds4, or Switch there's a button combo you can press to switch between them. This is a premium controller for an excellent price. It's a shame we can't use these on the PS5/Xbox.

I've gone a little controller crazy lately; I have a Super Nova and multiple 8Bitdo Ultimate 2's and Pro 3's.

I prefer the 8Bitdo's, especially the U2. They feel more premium.

The Super Nova feels more like a slight step up from a PowerA Advantage (which I started with). It's a very good controller, but there is something in the ergonomics that doesn't quite hit the same for me.

I have qty 3 and use thrm with Brook adaptersnon PS5 and XBox Series X. Even works with my samsung tv to remote.play my xbox from another room and cloud gaming (xcloud, luna) wanting to try cyclone 2 next as that controller suppose to be a little larger and TMR sticks

Mine doesn't wake the Switch 2. Was there a firmware update i am not aware of?
