I have a 11-year old local dimming Bravia series 900. It's still working like a champ with amazing image quality.

How is the quality of the latest OLED Bravias? Are these the ones made by TCL? Should I stick to the non-OLED models instead when it's time to replace?

The Bravia 6 Series is comparable to the LG B Series OLED. In the past the LG B Series OLEDs aren't as bright as the C or G Series, but any OLED will outperm any LCD due to its near infinite contrast and per pixel level dimming instead of relying on dimming zones. You'll notice the upgrades right away.

How about image quality longevity. Do OLEDs still have issues with image degradation. Sorry I haven't been in the TV market for a while.

OLEDs use organic pixels so you can experience burn in if you watch the same content over and over or display static images for long periods of time. The another burn in measures are much better than they have been in the past.

My LG C1 77" (2021) still looks phenomenal after 5,000-6,000 hours of use. Gaming and mixed media. If you get an OLED, I'd recommend getting an extended warranty that covers burn in. Additionally, if you were to go with a LG G Series or higher, a 5 year panel warranty is included with your purchase.

Have had the same Sony for almost 10 years and also new to the market. What is(are) the best 77" for bright rooms/reflections? Want to focus on those tv's waiting for a deal. Thanks!

I have a 77" LG OLED that I bought as a display from Best Buy during the crazy 50% off open box COVID sale. This thing has 12,000 hours on it currently and I budgeted like 2 years ago to buy a new TV but it's still going strong.

I have two LG B8's, a LG A1, and a Sony A80K that all look amazing. Just bought a new 75" Sony Bravia 7 mk II with rgb mini led and its very disappointing next to any of the OLED's.

Best for LCD to minimize reflections is Sony Bravia 9 Mark II, and best OLED to minimize reflections is Samsung S95H. Both are expensive.
