Remove drawers
Bolt the top chest to the bottom
Run two large lag bolts through the bottom cab and into a wall stud.
This will make it very hard for someone to roll your chest out to a trailer, AND it will keep the chest from tipping if your kids open a bunch of drawers at once.
Might be worth it to have the 52" span 2 36" bottoms. I was hoping this might drop a few more bucks before pulling the trigger but that's probably wishful thinking

Once you take delivery, that will ensure that either the 52" bottom will go on sale, or another 36" top will pop up.

Coming home to a giant heavy box on the porch, calling Fedx to come get it, Fedx telling them they have no record of a delivery to that location and that the parcel number is invalid.
