Feels and looks a bit more "sneaker like" on the uppers compared to other minimalist shoes (for example the other cheap option on amazon, whitin). But they have the wide toe box, zero drop, and low cushioning when you take out the included insole
I think a lot of people won't like the no-cushion aspect (use insole or maybe get a better one). but the wide toebox seems like something everyone should try. The human foot is really supposed to be shaped this way with toes splayed out much more than in conventional shoe design

AIRHAS zero drop barefoot gym shoes are a low cost way to try minimalist footwear, especially for lifting, squats, and short gym sessions. The wide toe box, breathable upper, and all black look get strong marks, and the shoes can feel true to size or slightly small depending on foot shape. The main tradeoff is very little padding, so longer walks, standing, or sensitive feet can feel uncomfortable. Fit also seems inconsistent, with some reports of a tight top or narrow build, so sizing carefully matters.
Gym lifters wanting a flat training shoe, because the zero-drop sole and low cushioning work well for squats and lifting.
Barefoot-shoe beginners wanting an inexpensive first pair, because the wide toe box and minimal feel make them a low-cost entry point.
Wide-toe wearers who prefer room for toe splay, because the toe box is very wide and avoids big-toe cramping.
People easing into minimalist shoes for short daily wear, because the shoes can feel comfortable after an adaptation period.
Wearers who need a roomy fit across the whole foot, because the shoe can run narrow and feel tight on top.
Walkers who need cushioning for long periods, because the shoes can feel too thin and uncomfortable after about 20 minutes.
Buyers expecting durable everyday shoes, because the upper can lose shape and show wear quickly with light use.
People with high arches or Achilles sensitivity, because flat zero-drop soles can aggravate those areas.

These are terrible. Way to narrow and the material breaks down quickly. Shoes are falling apart after a month of light wear.
I typically order Whitin brand from Amazon and the quality and fit on them is great.
I bought these last time they were on sale for $20 bucks and I don't feel like they were even worth that much unfortunately.
I have the hardest time finding sneakers or shoes, as I need a wide toe box. Even 4Es from most regular sneaker brands usually feel tight and uncomfortable.
Only brand I can go with is New Balance, where 2E usually is fine there depending on the model. Any other brands similar to this, or should I just stick with New Balance?
