Feels and looks a bit more "sneaker like" on the uppers compared to other minimalist shoes (for example the other cheap option on amazon, whitin). But they have the wide toe box, zero drop, and low cushioning when you take out the included insole
I think a lot of people won't like the no-cushion aspect (use insole or maybe get a better one). but the wide toebox seems like something everyone should try. The human foot is really supposed to be shaped this way with toes splayed out much more than in conventional shoe design

AIRHAS zero drop barefoot gym shoes are a low cost way to try minimalist footwear, especially for lifting, squats, and short gym sessions. The wide toe box, breathable upper, and all black look get strong marks, and the shoes can feel true to size or slightly small depending on foot shape. The main tradeoff is very little padding, so longer walks, standing, or sensitive feet can feel uncomfortable. Fit also seems inconsistent, with some reports of a tight top or narrow build, so sizing carefully matters.
The wide toe box supports a more natural toe splay shape for minimalist wearers.
The low-profile design can work for gym lifting and barefoot-style squats without issues after initial adaptation.
The outsole layer feels more substantial than very thin minimalist shoes while still keeping a close-to-ground feel.
Socks can be used while still getting a minimal, close-to-barefoot cushioning experience.
The shoes provide little padding, which can make standing and longer walks uncomfortable.
The shoes can show early wear or lose shape, including toe box wear after under a year of lifting.
Deal pricing may be inconsistent, with reports that the price rose during the promo and price checkers flagged it as not much of a deal.
The fit can feel tight on top even with a wide toe box, which may bother hammer toes or snug-fit preferences.
