One of those deals where you see RTX 5070 and $1399, but then read the rest of the specs and... sadness. It's pretty much the bare minimum to support a GPU of that caliber. But in the current market, it's still a fair price.

100%

A $1400 desktop with only 16gb of RAM would be laughed at any other year.

I think I'd hold out to see the open box deals around christmas. This is just not a good value.

the 5070 is an awkward card, so it's priced about the same at a 5060ti that has 16 gb by the marketplace. the 12 gb of ram was a poor choice by nvidia, you either want a 5070ti (16 gb) or a 5080, but the prices on those are absurd

I am stuck with my RTX4060 laptop. I should have spent a little more 2 years ago when things were a lot cheaper. Who would have known if computer prices would go crazy.

I ended up with a 5060ti 16 gb that got for $570 w 007 first light in June; think the 5070 ti is the best of both worlds with double the memory bus of 5060ti and 16 gb for better future proofing than standard 5070 at 12 gb

Agree! I used to scream about 32 gb being low for $1200 systems! Fake shortage scam is killing everyone!

I've come across some deals for DDR5 on FB marketplace, but the really good ones get scooped up before I get a chance to make an offer.
