Five Guys is landing as a pricey but customizable burger deal, with fresh ground beef, lots of free toppings, and fries that remain the standout for many orders. The BOGO can bring two burgers into a more reasonable range, especially when stacked with credits, though adding fries quickly pushes the total back up. The main knocks are high regular prices, occasional bland or underseasoned burgers, and fries that can turn soggy or arrive in smaller portions. It feels best when the toppings and fries matter more than the base burger.

Common Questions (5)

  • The deal makes the burgers cheaper, but the value depends on whether you want Five Guys' toppings and larger burgers; the fries are a major draw for many, though some orders have been soggy or underwhelming. Several comments still describe the burgers as flavorful and satisfying, while others say the bun and seasoning are weak.

  • Yes. The app has reportedly crashed in the evening during similar promos, and online orders can run 35-40 minutes behind when the store gets slammed, so placing the order early helps avoid delays.

  • A reported checkout total was $11.80 after tax for two regular burgers, and another order came to $15 for two bacon burgers without cheese. Adding fries can push the total much higher, with one example reaching $17 for two burgers plus fries.

  • Ordering fries well done can help at some locations, and asking for them that way has been reported to produce better results. Even so, some stores still serve limp or soggy fries, especially if the bag traps steam.

  • Yes. The coupon requires signing in or creating an account before checkout, and the mobile app may not show the offer clearly, so logging in through the Five Guys login page can be the easiest path.

Just placed my online order for 7:30 this evening. If anyone learned their lesson from last year, the app crashed in the evening hours. Get your orders in early!
I tried the website and app at 6:45pm. All five guys in my area have online ordering turned off 😡

I just got back from a 5 Guys in New Hampshire. Doube bacon cheeseburger is $11.55. Large Cajun Fries, 7.65, large soda 3.45. It made me feel xtra happy because back in Bay Area California, each was $13.99, Large Fries $8.39. Bay area is super nice, but one does pay for it.

Mine has online ordering turned off as well. You know they're doing it on purpose. Lame.

Ours turned it off at around 5:45pm. The online ordering system does not gate their orders to the capacity of stores, so my store was already 35-40 minutes behind when I got there for my 5:30 order (filled at 6:05). Everyone working behind the counter was going 110%. Worse, the app "auto-completes" your order 10 minutes after the promised time whether your order is complete or not, so the stores simply fill up with crazy angry Karens wanting to know where their order is.

I guess it sucks for everyone else that their 5 Guys has gone down hill. Mine tastes as good as I remember my first one in Arlington in 1996; I'd say even better now that grilled jalapenos are available. Even with a rush crowd my wife and I split a small fry and it was the usual fry-container plus a full scoop of extra potatoes in the bag.

I got the two bacon burgers. No cheese because I'll add it myself. It came to $15 straight.

You have to sign in or create an account to use the coupon. I didn't see an option on my mobile do I searched "five guys login" which took my to the correct page.

Ok, never again. I left without my online order. People were waiting there for over an hour. I called to cancel my order but kept rinking the local number. On the line with corporate number for over an hour and they keep saying "the call is important to them and I should hold". I guess I will dispute the charge with the credit card company.

If they are trying to create loyal customers, they are doing the opposite for some!

AWESOME DEAL!
Yes, it's 2 double cheeseburgers for $14 in my area, but they're GOOD burgers, meaty and juicy from fresh ground beef with the grilled mushrooms and grilled onions that I love. Only Wendy's comes close on a national scale.

I remember ordering from their 2nd Arlington location, but it's not quite as good. Back then, the buns were from a local bakery, super fresh, super tasty. Still super high quality, which I appreciate!

did this deal last year and the burger wasn't very good, i got a small fry and while they did give me a lot only the fries on top were good the rest were soggy
Same. Tried to to see what all the hype was about and it wasn't that good. Especially considering their regular prices are pretty high compared to the competition, I wouldn't pay full price for it. Glad I tried it, now I know I'm not missing anything

Good burger, but not worth full price VS Culvers cost that comes with fries etc for cheaper price!
