Nothing wrong with red meat in portions, especially when you skip on the fries and opt for a vegetable instead. That paired with a proper cardio/weight exercise regime and you'll be just fine.

Thanks! Had it for the first time in years when this deal popped up earlier this year. It is still a splurge bc it's $20 after I get the obligatory fries but worth it 1-2x per year. Will be my post workout meal tomorrow. Cheers

Even better, skip the bun(or replace with lettuce), the bun is far and away the unhealthiest part of the burger.

Well if 2 negatives make a positive, maybe there's a turn-around in your future. Your upside is tremendous, hopefully not restrained by your back side. Every meal will not be perfect. Shoot for moderate gains. And YES! SKIP THE FRIES!

And for those in the Advanced Class, Beyond Meat has ditched Palm Oil for Avocado oil. Sat fat status improved immensely. Palm oil has the same or worse saturated fat numbers than that of ground burger meat. Palm oil represents no gain over beef fat.

Lastly, why do Krispy Kreme donuts taste so good? Because they use fresh lard in their fryers everyday. Lard is the King of Natural Fats, not a desirable title.

LDL-C is the killer.

did this deal last year and the burger wasn't very good, i got a small fry and while they did give me a lot only the fries on top were good the rest were soggy

You should have complained, I dont eat a lot of burgers but 5 guys is where I go when I want that bad for delight.
I ask for well done with the frys and they are always perfect
