This one and an older one I have are the best vacuums I've ever bought. Beat the crao out of them using for house renovations cause filters prevent blow out stuff. I've never taken the beater apart and have cats and a wife! I take my units outside and blow out with air every few uses to keep them clean. Wash filters and canister, hose if doing any drywall work. Things are tanks.

I agree this has been my soul vacuum for five years, multiple cats, dogs, and girls in the house that she shed her like cats and dogs. This vacuum has weathered everything without any repairs at all.

Ive been looking for a vaccuum and/or vacuum mop? Is this any good in bare floors? I have laminate floors and they are a pain to clean. I get a lot of dust bunnjes, not just stuff that would require only a vacuum mop. Ive come to the realization that im nkt going to get a good product unless i buy them separately, but i absolutely need the ability to vacuum bare floors in addition to mopping them. I prefer to vacuum and then mop.

I have have had 2 over the last 15 or so years in a house with hardwood and area rugs. They work great and have an option to turn off the roller.

if you get a lot of dust bunnies consider a robo vac, we use one daily and have a dog and long haired womanin the house and have seen one in years. they also help get under furniture.

I have two of the regular and one stick from about 4-5 yrs ago and they work fantastic and so far the best vacuums Ive purchased , The Sharks blew away the (crap) $400 (paid $250) Dyson I used to use with ease ! Highly recommend Shark !

Btw , the Dyson took a crap after a mear 2 years , and Dyson never responded to the 5 warranty , I took the loss and learned a valuable lesson from the over hyped Dyson company .
