This bundle stands out as a midrange Radeon RX 9070 GRE deal that adds Onimusha and lands below other current pricing. The card is framed as a solid 1440p rasterization upgrade, with performance estimates ranging from about 20 percent to 40 percent over an RX 6800, and the game code helps the value feel better than a bare card. The main drawback is 12GB of memory, which can be limiting for some games and makes it a sideways move if you already have an RX 6800 and need more VRAM. It looks strongest for a straightforward GPU upgrade when the bundle price matters more than extra memory.
The bundle price can be about $50 cheaper than other places, making the package feel more competitive.
The RX 9070 GRE can deliver roughly a 20% performance uplift over an RX 6800 non-XT, which can help justify the upgrade.
The bundle can be viewed as better value because it includes Onimusha alongside the GPU purchase.
The staged upgrade approach can work well by pairing the GPU now with later CPU or other component upgrades.
The 12GB VRAM capacity can be a limiting factor for games that need more than 12GB.
The GPU's 12GB memory can be criticized as inadequate for some buyers.
Gigabyte/Gigadookie purchasing can carry RMA and return friction risks, including return-to-sender and signature-required package problems.
The upgrade can be a lateral move if the system already uses an RX 6800 and the goal is not to address VRAM needs.

If everything was normal i would say wait for black friday, but because the whole PC part situation is so unpredictable, I'd say buy it and dont think about it. As long as you can afford it, buying it now is probably not worth the "potential" money savings. At the best I could see this dropping to $450 but probably no free game. But prices are "supposed" to keep going up so who knows, maybe it will be even more expensive around black friday. Just look at what happened to Nvidia GPU pricing this month, a 5070 going for $700-$800 now and even if black friday came around and dropped those Nvidia prices they would still be well over MSRP.
Also you can enjoy this new GPU for 3 months, theres also a little bit of value in that as well.
A 3600 is a pretty low end processor and going on 7 years now, but it still performs pretty well and most games are graphics focused.

EDIT: I used an RX 6800 for years before upgrading to a 4070 Super and I loved it for what I was playing at the time. Had minor hiccups in some games where AMD didn't seem to be as well-supported but otherwise was very happy with my purchase

Fast forward to today and that same card is $120 more at the cheapest place I can find it and the lower end models have all bumped up again in price.
TLDR -this market sucks but is going to actively get worse. If you're considering something, grab it now.
