It's not misinformation if you're even admitting that other people can hear the output.
That doesn't happen with ACTUAL bone conduction headphones with actual conduction transducers.
It only happens with snake oil models that use enclosed speakers, which is what this is and many of the Shokz models are.
They made their name on bone conduction, yet only 2 of the 6 or so models they've released are actual bone conduction. And one doesn't work out of the box in Europe, so what does that tell you?
