The only bad I can think for this setup arrangement is the amount of neck movement of up and down. If the top monitor is of decent size (32" or more) and the two lower one are also decent sized (24" or more). Maybe try to keep the center more toward the larger monitor and keep the lower two close to the desk angled up.

That is what I am wondering as well. Right now I have 3 monitors and I keep turning left and right. I am hoping this will be better but hopefully not too much up and down. I think your idea makes sense. I will have to try and keep the lower monitors close to the desk. If it does not work, then I send it back.

Can you put the 49" on the bottom and the smaller monitors on top?

Yes, they show that in one of the pictures. I was wondering the same.

I found that a vertical stack of two monitors was way easier on the neck than 3 monitors spread horizontally. I feel like the 3-monitor horizontal spread is a legacy idea from when monitors were smaller in general, and certainly before ultrawide monitors were common. As you said, it's just too much head turning.

That is what I am going to try. I think the 2 smaller on top and one large on the bottom will work best for me.

I run 4 27' with 3 on the bottom and 1 up top. People are underestimating how hard it is to use a screen on top. It's good for some reference things, but very much less practical for productivity.

Got it today and installed. It works well. I put the 2 smaller on top and the larger is on the bottom close to the desk. It works well but I put it on the corner of an L shaped desk and since you can't adjust the single monitor much, it is set back a little further than I am used to. Overall I think it will work well. It was easy to set up.

After using this over the weekend, the only issue is the distance the single monitor is away from me. I decided to order this arm to use in place of the single monitor mount they provided to get the monitor closer https://link.amazon/B01tLvsKK
