Why wouldn't you get rechargeable ones at this price point?

Rechargeable LI batteries are usually 3.6V cells with a voltage regulator whereas non-rechargeable LI batteries are a native 1.5V cells. The former might have unexpected limitations such as limited max current or lower overall capacity.

Seems like a waste of lithium for a slightly longer battery life

These have a role for things like water sensors, temperature sensors, anything in a hard to reach place that you don't want to replace often. They're also the best performing batteries in extreme temperatures. I have sensors on my water meter and in the crawlspace that I use these for. Moving to rechargeables for pretty much everything else.

Shows $7.49 for me; my Blink cameras work best with these. Paid the same price in Nov 2024 😂

Must have for Blink cameras or other devices that are hard to reach such as automated blinds.

Showed $7.12 for me but I already have 48 from one of the last deals.

It's still wasteful.
