Yeah really only way you're gonna get a "discounted" GPU or PC build is through pre-builts atm. IMO I'd rather spend the extra $200-$400+ sourcing my own trusted parts. The fun about PC building is researching and using the parts you want...in this climate though its increasingly harder to even do that.

Personally have always built a computer as a mid range PC and just slowly upgraded the CPU, RAM, GPU, SSDs as the years go by when sales came up. Built my PC in 2019 and unironically was able to upgrade everything throughout the years before the AI boom.
