It's unlocked, very common to pay more than subsidized with a plan.

Irrelevant. Pixels should be $500-$600 MSRP w/o trade

I don't think a trade-in price is much of a Slick deal. BTW, they only wanted to give me $350 for my Pixel 9.

Has anything changed? Aren't these same trade-in values as launch?
Actually I just checked my 8 Pro - $420... yeah this is same as launch but without the $100 coupons

Google continues to demonstrate the benefits of computational photography on the PIxel platform. At the same time, be reminded that the underlying main camera hardware was downgraded in the Pixel 10 series. The Pixel Pro series is now the only way to retain main sensor hardware in the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro (and the XL variants) equivalent to the Pixel 9, Pixel 8, and pretty much all the way back to the Pixel 6.

This is worth mentioning when you consider the trade-in involves a Pixel 8.

Good luck!
Jon

Pixel phones are mid range phones. 550 should be original price.

ya this deal worse than previous deal, not much upgraded vs the 10 or even the 9, 9pro have more ram. The Pixel 11 is more a medium tier phone, dwarfed in speed in performance by the snapdragon android phones or the iphone. If you like the software, great, but, you get less performance than samsung or iphone or other android imports with snapdragon elite chipsets.

I was so upset to feel obligated in recommending the new iPhone over the pixel due to price and specs for a family member who didn't have a trade in opportunity or any other discounts available. At full price, it's a pretty obvious choice

Back in the day, 500 dollar phone consider premium top of the line, now is an entry level phone. Ridiculously overpriced and nothing new

I agree that $550 is way too expensive for a trade-in deal. In 2024, you could buy the very Pixel 8 (which they want you to give up in this deal) outright for about the same price ($609) or with an iPhone 11 trade in for only $194. Now, two years later, you have to give up what was a $600 then and pay another $550 for not much of an upgrade.
