Paid $144 five years ago, so not a bad price. No problems with the machine since owning it and Bunn filters are cheap.

53 oz, if you'd prefer that to 40 oz. Edit: I see $132.69 for "Used - Like New" in original packaging ... but I'm not impulse buying today.

Do you use the "Time Saver" function, and if so, is there any risk of the basket overflowing with too much / too fine coffee?

We also have this at the office. It's amazing how long the coffee stays hot. Awesome system, so much better than the old commercial bunn carafe that would use way more electricity trying to keep it warm

I had the previous model as well for 16 years and recently, it would stop mid cycle then restart. Figured it was time to freshen up. Coffee is noticeably hotter with this one and stainless caraffe is a good design. I haven't found replacement silicone gaskets so that's the only thing I'd be worried about. I use standard round filters and medium grind without issues.

It does not, however it is solid for the price and thermal carafe is excellent. Water comes out at 199 consistently.Still, Cant make a better pot than my mocca, I dont know why.

Not SCA-certified, could be one of the reasons:

Now granted this might be something of a cartel, as I think you have to pay a certain amount every year for recertification, and so not even the MoccaMaster is currently on the above list, even though they were in the past.
