I was so mad when I found out they make usb-c cables that only do usb 2.0 speed. For the longest time I figured they had to be at least as fast as the fastest usb-a cables, but no. Now I have a whole drawer of "what is this usb-c cable good for?"

It's probably fine. 150MB/s isn't fast though. USB 3.0 aka USB 3.2 Gen1 maxes out at 650 MB/s and that's not exclusive to USB-C. People probably just (rightly) expect that a USB-C drive of any kind should be at least that fast even if it isn't 10/20/40Gbps

I agree that 150MB/s is on the slow end, but this would be great for general use as long as you're not trying to transfer 120gb of data back and forth all the time.

The difference between 5 seconds and 30 seconds for 4gb of files is probably worth the trade-off for a dual-end flash drive at this price point.
