They generally are not considered safe for household use. If you must use one, then you should have a way to monitor the concentration of ozone in your living areas, and ways to vent the air if the ozone exceeds recommended levels.
Generally, there is no evidence that they remove odors or kill mold/bacteria at ozone concentrations that are also safe for humans.

I hate to admit this but I use one of these cheap machines to deodorize my old and musty smelling 2 story garage about 2 times a week. It has several leaks and I can't afford to fix/replace the roof at the moment so I utilize these disposable devices thinking that I'm preventing mold and perhaps even discouraging/repelling insects like wasps from inhabiting my garage. (Also spray the outside roof and perimeter with Taurus SC once a year, that's the full toxic combo
Also I suspect these generic ozone devices are mass produced incredibly cheaply at a generic Chinese factory and can be bulk purchased for around $5 at sites like Temu and Aliexpress.
Then funky "companies" (Most likely glorified dropshippers) slap odd names on them like "Tikki Tikki Tembo-no Sa Rembo-chari Bari Ruchi-pip Peri Pembo" to make a quick buck. Heck, I could probably buy a bunch of these on Aliexpress and "brand" them with a name like "Cheap Basterd's Lung Cancer Machine) and join in on the shenanigans
