Does anyone know if this is water resistant in the front? The basics noose takes in water like crazy and gets your toe all wet even on a damp road

Most likely not, given that they're fairly breathable. You're probably going to want a shoe with goretex or something similar.

I had the same issue the other day. Told me the products in my cart were excluded...and I had added filler items to reach the $100 mark.

Would the $20 off work on already discounted item?

Great deal for new Brook's. It's a shame the color is hideous...

Quite different; I think this Brooks model is better at what it does but it and that Hoka are meant for wildly different purposes. This one is for faster workouts and races, Bondi 9 is for easy and "recovery" runs (if that). Hyperion Max is very light (despite having a large volume of foam) and bouncy with a nylon plate. Very fun to use for faster workouts or races like 5k and 10k. Bondi 9 is a stiff max stack shoe that's colloquially used more for walking than running. Lots of cushion but low energy return, feels heavy and clunky when ever going more than a light jogging pace. The shape of the shoe is not good for fast or long strides.
I happen to have used each of these shoes for workouts in the past week; Hyperion Max for a combo workout of easy miles and track interval repeats and the Bondi for a longer (mostly slow) run with a short, fast finish on the track.

Does anyone know how these operate compared to the Brooks Adrenalines? I've been an Adrenaline guy for years, but boy do they cost.

Hyperion are lighter but don't have support like Adrenalines do. Think of these like a faster Ghost. Remember that you can cop Adrenalines for around this price on Restart

Kinda nostalgic having these Hyperions match the borderlands Hyperion company color way.

Nah, I'm good. 90 bucks for a synthetic sock with some foam. Those people should be ashamed of themselves
