You will get a base charger soon enough. Buy a tool that has a 4amp battery. Seesii and Taskforce are interchangeable, based of the Makita battery system.

I mean, for 35 bucks and it comes with a couple other tools. Perfect for a kid moving into their first apartment etc. Small investment to have a couple tools around.

This SEESII drill kit looks like a compact starter set for basic home and apartment projects, with the battery system and included tools making it useful for everyday tasks. The brand gets credit for solid real world performance across other tools, including an impact gun used regularly and a pruner that handles apple and plum trees well. The main caution is that it is not meant for heavy jobs like building a deck, and the charger setup can run hot and feel slow. A practical low cost kit if you want a small cordless setup for routine use.

I am all in to this brand now. I converted from Ryobi. This is a nice starter kit. You can never have too many drills

The batteries Seesii uses are a generic type that a lot of other no-name brands use as well so there are charger styles that you mentioned that will work with these batteries. I bought one from AliExpress after looking at the pictures of them and realizing the shape and pin designs were identical for many different random brands. I decided to take a chance and just try a different brand charger that looked like it would work and it did.
Makita battery can power all Seesii tools, even the opposite is not true.

That's what I thought. And it's more than my low-end Ryobi. But not too surprising for this package price. Probably good enough for basic DIY homeowners.
It's just a white label product. you can find the exact same product under different names. I have one of them from different brand. No way this is stronger than a ryobi. Unless this specific brand is producing higher quality products than the other white labels, which can happen... There's always that one chinese company from 10-15 years ago that started selling generic white label stuff and then establish itself as a respectable brand; Anker, ugreen, etc..

Only familiar with the brand from previous deal posts (mods, how do we get it a Brand tag?). Other posters seem to give Seesii positive endorsements (dinged for weakish battery life, though). I think it was their recip saw that first caught my eye.
I'd be willing to give the brand a try if I had a *need* for the right tool.

Depends of your intentions... Can you build a deck with it? Definitely not. Is it sufficient for 90% of random household projects? Yes it is.
I bought something similar (different brand, same price point) for my son when he moved to his first rented apartment 10 years ago and it works just fine.

I have 2 tools from this company and have been very pleased. Especially with the 1/2" impact, use it nearly every weekend and carry it in my car in case of a flat tire.
