I have multiple wireless controllers and I use them across many platforms (PC, Android, Switch), I've never experienced any lag unless there was a major cause for it.
On PC, I have an external Bluetooth antenna. On Android, I stay within two feet of the tablet. On Switch, I'm within six feet of the console.

FWIW, I really like this controller (small enough to travel with but still plays like a large controller) but wish it had the Xbox layout. It is easy enough to change how the controller behaves in terms of buttons, just the Nintendo labels annoys me since I live in the modern world.

ETA I also tried it on my 8" ONN tablet and it still had some lag, but only really noticeable on games that require quick twitch movements. The D pad is excellent on this.

P.S. Not as good of a price (same vendor), however for $33-35, before coupons, you can get the gray, purple, or green models as well. Amazon is mo faster and mo safer of course, but AE (IMO) is nearly as reliable if you stick to vendors with solid histories. AKA....don't buy from the company that was registered last week selling a 10KW inverter generator for $37...that might be shady
NOTE: I have zero to do with this store and buy at your own risk. I am just some rando who owns way too many controllers and retro consoles sourced (mainly) from AliExpress.
