WiFi7 still sucks compare to Ethernet, wait for WiFi8 w/ OpenWRT support if you can.

if congestion and only need 100mb, try channel 165 20mhz, this channel usually available Bc it can't be over 20mhz, so auto mode won't use it.

few dozen WiFi signals here, not one using 165, so I'm using it, jitter prolly better than WiFi7 5ghz under light load.

Vast majority of devices don't have 6Ghz WiFi anyways. Pretty much only smartphones and higher end laptops. And the vast majority of things people do on smartphones don't require 6Ghz capabilities, since 5Ghz can already do 900 Mbps if configured correctly. 6ghz range also sucks ass, pretty much only line of sight or like, 8 feet through walls.

6GHz is useful for wireless VR... but the Steam Frame I just ordered is going to come with a 6GHz access point dongle, so I don't really need a new router.
