Moving from my husqvarna to my Kobalt 80v was one of the most satisfying things I've done. Stihl, of course, is great as is husqvarna but moving to a battery operated chainsaw was awesome. No more worries about cold starts, bad gas, etc. just press a button and go. I've had my Kobalt for over 6 years now and the batteries are still great. Helps if you get into the system and get extra batteries with other tools like trimmers and such. Good to have a couple batteries.
And of course Greenworks and Kobalt are essentially the same. That's why I spoke up.

thanks. i just got into Greenworks 60 volt, chain saw, trimmer, blower; seem to be fine. now deciding on a 60 volt mower; seems the deals are there this fall and discounted heavily.

... the battery alone is a great deal.. especially if you just picked up the 80v lawn mower 😏 $44/mt no APR.. MY GOODNESS! ... just checked with CCC and its +$20 over historic low. I wonder if I can sell the charger online for $20.. I don't need that.
