I find that polyester socks hold their shape a lot better when I'm running or working out. Cotton socks tend to bunch up and get soggy and cause blisters.

Polyester fabric very poor on breathing. Foot will smell foul very quickly. Cotton is always gold standard for any fabric touching your body directly.

I simply don't believe that is true. Cotton absorbs moisture and stays wet. That is not what you want for anything you have touching your body, when moisture is involved.
